Auburn CADC Portfolio Competition Guidelines

1. Format Requirement
8 1/2” x 11”, single or double page spreads.
2. Submission Requirement
All entries will be posted to ISSUU.com. Candidates will post pdf files of portfolio submissions to the Auburn CADC Portfolio Competition group. Only entries that are posted to the site will be juried.
In order to post to the site candidates will need to sign up for an issuu account and follow instructions to post.
3. Suggested Criteria
An architect’s portfolio is a professional document that continues to evolve due to the changes in media and information technology. The primary use for the professional portfolio is in communicating the architects work in a clear and accessible way.
The portfolio competition is an opportunity for the student to begin to develop a professional identity through the creation of a portfolio. This years competition seeks to host the entries in a web based medium that is accessible and easy to use.
The judging criteria will be based on the quality of the work and the clarity of its presentation.

5. To Enter
1. Create an account on issuu.com
2. Once logged in follow this link
3. Join the “Auburn Cadc Portfolio Competition” Group by clicking the Join button
4. Upload your pdf portfolio to issuu by clicking the “upload document” button at right side of the blue navigation bar
5. Title the document in this format “Last Name, First Name_Year level” ex. “Doe, Jane 3”
6. Enter all the required fields and click the upload button
7. Navigate back to the “Auburn Cadc Portfolio Competition” Group by clicking under “My Groups”
8. Click the blue “Add Something” Button and select your portfolio
6. Deadline
Entrants may post as many versions of the document up to the deadline of 12:00 Noon, Friday December, 10 2010.
Please limit your entry to 1 document. In the event that more than one document is posted, only the most recent document will be considered.
7. Prize
A Top prize of $2,500.00 will be awarded. Special prizes will be awarded at Jurors discretion.
